Brain Health and Housing is a new partnership between the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) and Respond which aims to examine our understanding of brain health and how it can be applied to housing design and to the provision and the development of sustainable communities.
This approach inherently touches on social justice and equity and reflects both Respond and GBHI’s core mission and identity. Housing and the built environment can impact on brain health and cognitive development and having a home can contribute significantly to an individual’s well-being, quality of life and their capacity to recover from illness and adversity.
Seminar Series
The Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) and Respond are delighted to co-host a series of seminars which will advance our understanding of brain health as it applies to housing design, care provision and homeless services.
